Samsung Galaxy Fold Is Being Sold In Malaysia's Mobile2Go For MYR13,888

Here's your chance to flex

Hey Malaysians, if you want to show off to your friends that you have a foldable smartphone, here's your chance. The Samsung Galaxy Fold is currently in Malaysia, specifically being sold by retailer Mobile2Go. Oh, and it comes with a price tag of MYR13,888. No sweat.

To be clear, this is an import set which is why it's a lot more expensive than how much it would cost if the Galaxy Fold had been officially launched here. If so, the price would be around the MYR8000 range. But if you're keen to flex before that happens and have some spare change around, then this is your best option. Soyacincau posted a picture of the Galaxy Fold being sold in Mobile2Go and so far their set only comes in black and is the 4G LTE version.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold comes with a 4.6″ HD+ Super AMOLED display on the cover, with the inside being a 7.3″ QXGA+ Infinity Flex display. On the inside it has a Snapdragon 855 processor with 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage. In terms of battery, the 4G version comes with a 4,380mAh battery while the 5G variant gets a smaller 4,235mAh capacity.

There's still no news on an official launch date in Malaysia just yet. It's already been launched in a number of countries so far in the month of September, so we can expect it to come to Malaysia at some point.
