Between the hype of their upcoming Samsung Note 10, and the trials and tribulations that came with trying to bring the world’s first folding smartphone to life, Samsung’s been pretty busy these past few months. Though they haven’t run out of goodies just yet, as their ultimate selfie smartphone is coming to Malaysia this month.
This news was announced by local smartphone dealer, DirectD, who previously announced the coming of the Xiaomi Mi 9 as well as offering refunds for Huawei phones that have stopped using Google apps. On a Facebook post, DirectD announced that pre-orders are live for the Samsung A80, with the phone retailing for MYR 2,888 and is expected to arrive on the 13th of July.
The A80 was announced back in May, featuring a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen, a Super-Fast Charging 3,700mAh battery, and of course, the innovative rotating triple camera setup. This allows for the same quality between taking pictures from the front or the back of the A80. The three cameras includes a 48MP main camera, a 3D Depth camera which offers Live Focus videos, as well as an Ultra Wide angle lens.
If you’re interested in getting the Samsung A80, then head on over to DirectD’s official Facebook page to pre-order. Samsung themselves have not announced an official pricing and release date just yet, so wait for that if you’d rather get it from the official source.
