There has been reports on the successor to Sony's WH-1000XM3 ANC headphones, the WH-1000XM4, had passed SIRIM certification here in Malaysia. This makes it certain that we'll be getting the device soon enough but now not only are there leaked images showing how it would look like, there's an interesting added description on it that shows it's made in Malaysia.
The images were posted on Twitter by user Mishaal Rhaman that not only showed the headphones that look similar to its predecessor, but on the side you can see a Made In Malaysia label too. The problem with this information is that the label also has the USA's FCC ID, which means it's possible that the label could be fake.
In fact, there's a possibility that the images revealed here are not to be taken seriously and could be a hoax all along. Even so, it's the only leaked information revealed on the WH-1000XM4 so far, even with the headphones expecting to launch at some point this year.
For now, if you don't mind checking out the current generation, you can get the WH-1000XM3 that's retailing at RM1599.
