Apple has been eyeing the gaming community since this year, based on the fact that they launched Apple Arcade recently to cater to them. Looks like they're taking things to the next level as rumours of a gaming centric MacBook Pro is currently circling the tech community.
According to rumors from Taiwan (as reported by Patently Apple), Apple is aiming to develop a gaming-centric device for 2020. Rumours also state that, in true Apple fashion, the computer will cost up to USD5000 (~RM20,500), which shouldn't be much of a surprise at this point, considering how expensive the Mac Pro is.
As it's a mere rumour, not a lot is known about this device and we don't even know if this Apple gaming computer will be an iMac all-in-one, large-screen MacBook Pro, or even a stand-alone desktop tower like the Mac Pro. These rumours also claim that Apple will announce the device at WWDC in June 2020, so there's plenty of time to see if this rumour will come to fruition.
Apple has never been known to cater to the gaming community much, so this rumour could end up false or misconstrued. But it's still interesting to consider the possibility, though with that price tag and the selections already available in the Malaysian market, it seems less likely to be a hit here.
