Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi has finally revealed their Redmi Note 9 Pro series consisting of the Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max for the Indian market. Yeah, that naming scheme is a lot like Apple and may not have the specs to match, but it still comes with some pretty great features especially when you consider the price.
To start with, they both feature 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS displays in a 20:9 aspect ratio with a refresh rate of 60Hz. Both phones are also powered by the recently released Snapdragon 720G.
For the differences, the Redmi Note 9 Pro comes with 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM, while the Max variant comes with 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM. Both phones also comes with UFS 2.1 storage too which is a great addition for the device.
They both comes with a quad camera setup but the difference between the two devices are that the Redmi Note 9 Pro has a 48MP main shooter while the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max comes with a 64MP main sensor. Other than that, they both havean 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 5 MP macro lens, and a 2 MP depth sensor. Even the selfie cameras are different between the devices with the Redmi Note 9 Pro having a 16 MP sensor, and the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has a 32 MP shooter.
Both phones are powered by a 5020 mAh battery, the difference being the Redmi Note 9 Pro only has support for 18 W fast-charge, while the Redmi Note 9 Pro has 33 W fast-charging instead.

- Redmi Note 9 Pro 6/128 GB - Rs. 15,999 (~RM928)
- Redmi Note 9 Pro Max 6/64 GB - Rs. 14,999 (~RM870)
- Redmi Note 9 Pro Max 6/128 GB - Rs. 16,999 (~RM986)
- Redmi Note 9 Pro Max 8/128 GB - Rs.18,999 (~RM1102)
There's no announcement yet for a launch in Malaysia but in India the Redmi Note 9 Pro will go on sale on March 17 while the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max goes on sale on March 25.
