After much teasing, the realme X50 5G has finally got enough revelation for you to see the full picture. With official posters available, as well as plenty of specs revealed, here's what you need to know about the upcoming flagship smartphone from realme, with more likely to come as its official launch in China draws near.
How will it look like?
In general, the realme X50 5G looks a lot like the realme XT and X2, with a quad-camera setup on the upper left corner but there are some design differences, such as the flash being placed next to the cameras instead. There's no fingerprint scanner on the back, but it will have one but on the right side of the device - a first for realme.
There's no official pictures of the front of the smartphone yet, though renders revealed two punch holes to house the dual selfie camera it has.
So far realme has revealed a Polar colour for their device, but we're sure more colours will be revealed soon enough.
What are the specs looking like?
The realme X50 5G is set to have a Snapdragon 765G SoC, the first smartphone to ever use such a processor. It will have a quad camera setup, as mentioned earlier, consisting of a 108MP main camera, 13MP periscope with 5x optical zoom, 8MP ultrawide lens and 2MP depth sensor.
The biggest attraction has to be its dual selfie camera - 32MP main camera and 8MP depth sensor - a 4500mAh battery that allegedly lasts for two days and enhanced VOOC 4.0 fast charging.
In terms of its screen, it's set to have a 6.67-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2400px) screen with LCD by JDI and 120Hz refresh rate. Yes, it's LCD not AMOLED.
When is it expected to launch?
It will be officially launched in Beijing, China, on January 7 2020. No news yet on a global launch, not even for Malaysia, yet.
How much will it cost?
Prices for China have already been revealed to be These will, apparently, set you back CNY2199 (~RM1295) for 6GB + 128GB, CNY2499 (~RM1471) for 8GB + 128GB and CNY 2799 (~RM1648) for 8GB + 256GB. So we can expect the price to be below RM2000 regardless in Malaysia.
