Realme has been steadily getting better and better, and is slowly becoming more than just a midrange alternative for those with lighter wallets. That said, it doesn’t mean Realme is one to skimp out on features and capabilities. Their new mystery phone seems to bring a whole new camera experience to the world.
Thanks to Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth’s Twitter post, we now know that the existence of a 64MP Quad camera smartphone is on the horizon from the phone maker. In his tweet, he posted a photo taken with this new mystery phone, as well as revealing what sensors are allowing for this to be the world’s first 64 MP Quad camera smartphone.
Sheth mentions that this phone utilises a 64MP GW1 1/1.72” sensor, which allows for amazing shots even in low light. This image sensor is known as the ISOCELL Bright with Tetracell and is in fact manufactured by Samsung. This new Realme smartphone will be the first smartphone to use this new image sensor, beating out even Samsung themselves.
Overall, we’re sure to learn more about this mystery Realme smartphone soon. It will launch in India first, with no concrete release date just yet.
