If the Asus ZenFone 3 has been on your shopping list, it's coming pretty soon and registered attendees to the Zenvolution launch event tomorrow, 6 August, have the chance to purchase one or preorder the upcoming ZenFone 3 Ultra.
The KLCC Convention Centre event will see three models being launched, namely the ZenFone 3, ZenFone Deluxe, and the ZenFone 3 Ultra, which have 5.5in, 5.7in and 6.8in displays respectively.
For the ZenFone 3, expect a Snapdragon 625 instead with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage, fingerprint sensor, 3000mAh battery and 16MP rear camera with OIS and a dual-tone flash. The Deluxe has a 23MP rear camera and is supposed to be the first smart phone in an aluminium design without an antenna strip line. There's also 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
As for the giant ZenFone 3 Ultra, it will also have a huge 23MP camera, with a Snapdragon 652 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 4600mAh battery that can be used as a power bank.
Of interest to power users will be the Deluxe, thanks to it being the first phone to sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 - the update to Qualcomm's highest-end mobile processor, the Snapdragon 820. While there's no news as yet about its availability, there will be a limited availability at the event for the ZenFone 3 with the ZenFone 3 Ultra also on preorder with a special bundle that includes a power bank and selfie stick.
Pricing will only be released at the event most likely so we'll keep you updated once the news is official.
