The next Pixel phone, specifically the Pixel 4 XL, could come with four cameras in the form of dual rear and front setup - which will be interesting given how the Pixel 2 and 3 series had only one 12-megapixel camera, and yet it performed on par with or even better than other flagships out there by employing superior image processing algorithms.
Given how well the Pixel 2 and 3 performs without a depth sensor, adding one would most likely improve the image quality of portraits or even AR capabilities. On the other hand, it could be an ultra-wide angle lens which many 2018-2019 phones have started adding.
As shown in the sketch, the supposed Pixel device is also shown to carry a punch-hole display where the front cameras are, à la Samsung S10 Plus. Contrast that with the subtraction of the rear fingerprint sensor which has been in all Pixel devices so far, and what we got here is potentially a pretty sleek phone. This could also point to an in-display fingerprint sensor.
This so-called leak remains unverified, so make of it what you will. It’s fun to speculate but we will definitely update you on any additional information on Google’s next phone.
