Huawei's Honor 9 only just got launched in China and Europe but it has done well enough to sell over one million units.
A big hit
Honor CEO Zhao Ming made the announcement of the phone's sales on Weibo. The company did not expect the high demand for the phone, and Zhao apologised for the short supply.
The company is however working to amp up production to ensure there'll be enough phones for customers.
Honor's flagships have always sold well and the Honor 9 seems to be continuing the trend. With a Kirin 960 processor, 5.15in Full HD display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, it does have a fairly attractive featureset. Top it with the dual-cam setup with Huawei's popular and great-performing camera expertise, with an affordable price tag to to boot and it's easy to see why the Honor 9 is a hit.
