Yesterday we reported on Oppo’s latest smartphone endeavour coming soon, as well as rumours of it having 10x lossless zoom cameras. While we covered some of the rumours surrounding the new smartphone, we now have new information thanks to the SIRIM certification board of Malaysia.
This confirms that the phone is coming to Malaysia, as well as most countries in the region. The Reno is set to be a new midrange line for the company. The SIRIM certification in question reveals most of the specs of the phone, which looks to be similar to the Oppo R17.
A full breakdown of the phone’s specifications can be found on Bluetooth.com, which confirms most of the rumors surrounding the Reno. This revealed the Reno’s 6.4″ Full HD+ display and Snapdragon 710 processor. Camera-wise, it will feature a 48MP + 5MP dual-camera setup for the rear, with a 16MP front camera. No confirmation on the 10x lossless zoom however.
All in all, the Oppo Reno seems to be a good alternative to the previously released R17, hopefully with a couple of extra features. We’ll be sure to provide updates as the Reno will unveiled on April 10th 2019.
