The Oppo Reno 3 series was announced in China back in December 2019 and comes with 5G. The global version was just announced and while it lacks 5G, it does sport the recently announced Mediatek Helio P95 chipset and even comes with a 44MP dual selfie camera on the front.
The Reno 3 Pro is the first smartphone to be packed with the recently announced Mediatek Helio P95 chipset. It also comes with an octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A75 cores running at up to 2.2GHz and 8GB RAM. In terms of display, it has a 6.5” Super AMOLED panel with a 20:9 ratio, Full HD+ resolution and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
For the selfie cameras, the device comes with a dual punch-hole setup on the top left of the screen. The main camera comes with a whopping 44MP main selfie camera, the highest resolution for a selfie camera to date, with the other camera being a 2MP depth sensor. For the rear camera, you get a quad camera setup with a 64MP main camera, 13MP telephoto lens, 8MP ultra wide-angle lens and a 2MP mono lens.
The Oppo Reno 3 Pro is scheduled to launch on March 6 in India. It will come with the colours Auroral Blue, Midnight Black, and Sky White colors. They will be getting the 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM (with a microSD card slot available) first and will be priced at INR29,990 (~RM1733).
