The OPPO R7 is now on sale in Malaysia but there seems to be a problem as there are only limited number of units for sale.
When the phone series was launched in Malaysia recently, only the R7 Plus and the R7 Lite were to be sold in Malaysia, but along the way, the Chinese phonemaker had a sudden change of heart and decided to release the R7 too. Frankly, it wasn’t a change of heart, more like a marketing strategy as the R7 has become quite popular back in their homeland, China.
The R7 will be available starting Aug 12 at the price of RM 1,598 but as we have mentioned, there are only limited units with only 2,000 units to go around. Just a quick recap on the R7’s specs, the phone is fitted with a 5-inch Full HD AMOLED display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 1.5GHz octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM. As for the main shooter, you have 13MP main and a 8MP selfie camera, and the phone gets 16GB of expandable storage and supports VOOC Flash Charging with its 2,320mAh battery. Not bad for the price, to be sure.
