When not accidentally sending creepy messages to their users, OnePlus is steadily providing new updates to OnePlus 7 Pro users with more improvements and enhancements for a better experience. Just recently, the company has released a 9.5.9 update to their OxygenOS with substantial added features.
Noteworthy additions include improved touch sensitivity, smoother visual effects, haptic feedback for its keyboard, adjusted sensitivity of the auto brightness, tweaks to its GPS system, and optimised display resolution when auto-switching. Other updates listed in the changelog are better haptic feedback for third party apps, increased sound enhancement for OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 headphones, an updated Android security patch level, and added assistive lighting to the Face Unlock feature.
Probably a more interesting improvement included in this update is the major tweak to the OnePlus 7 Pro’s camera app; 48MP photos shot in Pro mode are increased in quality, faster switching between front and rear cameras, faster autofocus, and advanced photo stitching in Panorama.
Typical of any update, it will roll out in stages with only a limited number of users will receive it at this current time, while a wider release will be coming in a couple of days later.
