The OnePlus 2 is scheduled to release in South East Asia in Q4 but we have a feeling it may come to Malaysia before that. The phone just passed the Malaysian SIRIM certification with the model number A2003, which is similar with Singapore and the phone will be distributed by Brightstar and Maxis.
In case you missed it, the specs for the device are; a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and as for storage, there are two variants with one coming with 16GB internal storage and another with 64GB internal storage but both storages are not expandable with microSD.
The phone gets a 13MP f/2.0 main shooter that has Optical Image Stabilisation and Laser Auto Focus functions while for the front shooter, a 5MP camera. The OnePlus 2 is fitted with a 3,300mAh battery which is much larger than its predecessors. Sadly the phone does not support NFC which is included in the OnePlus One but the OnePlys 2 does support 4G LTE and dualSIM.
The phone will use a USB-C for data transfer and charging while it will be running on the proprietary OxygenOS which is based on Android 5.1.
