OnePlus 2 could be pricier at RM1,700

If you were expecting a cheaper flagship, you won't get it here

OnePlus recently announced that the upcoming flagship will be fitted with a faster and better Snapdragon 810 processor but it will up the price much higher than itss current predecessor the OnePlue One.

The processor costs 60 more than the Snapdragon 801 that is currently being used but CEO Pete Lau states that the phones will not go beyond USD$450. Here is the problem, with the local currency at an all time low, $450 will be RM 1,721. That makes it RM500 more than its current predecessor priced at RM1,199.

The next question is, will you still buy it? The phone does use a USB type C connector and claims to have the most advanced finger print scanne. Well, you have weeks to decide as the device is scheduled to launch on the 27th of July (28th for Malaysia)
