Oppo's spin-off Realme had not only unveiled their Realme 3 Pro earlier this week, but it has also been confirmed that the Android Pie-based ColorOS 6 and the HyperBoost 2.0 feature will be trickling down to older Realme smartphones.
Realme's India CEO Madhav Sheth revealed that the HyperBoost 2.0 will be rolled out to Realme 1, 2 Pro, and U1 with ColorOS 6 update, whereas the Realme 2 and C1 are still being considered for this feature.
HyperBoost 2.0 improves the gaming performance in real-time and includes Touch Boost and Frame Boost - the former increases touch response time by 16.2% whereas the latter improves frame stability while gaming by 38%. The HyperBoost is also available on the OPPO F11 Pro.
This isn't the first time that Realme has promised to roll out a feature from its latest smartphone to older ones. Last month, the company announced that Realme 3's Nightscape mode would make its way to older phones soon as well.
