Nubia, a subsidiary of ZTE, recently introduced a brand new flagship gaming smartphone that sports monstrous specs like no other before it. Meet the Nubia Red Magic 3, a smartphone with an actual cooling fan.
The Red Magic 3 offers a Snapdragon 855 with Adreno-640 chipset, with up to a whopping 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, a massive 5,000 mAh battery with 27W fast charging, and two types of internal cooling. It also is equipped with a 6.65” FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch refresh rate, speakers on its top and bottom for stereo sound, and 4D customisable vibrations. As you can already tell, this phone is gaming ready and then some.
The two types of internal cooling consists of a 2nd generation ICE liquid cooling system and a cooling fan that lowers the phone temperature with 16 degrees Celsius. You can expect the phone to run smoothly and in low heat when playing graphic intensive games in high fps.
Even though the Red Magic 3’s emphasis is on gaming, it doesn’t fall back in photography and video features either. The phone is equipped with a single 48MP IMX586 f/1.7 main camera which is capable of recording 8K videos and up to a staggering 1920 fps of slo-mo video shooting. Lastly, it has a 16MP sensor front camera for all things selfie related.
The Nubia Red Magic 3 will be available for sale on 3 May 2019 in China, and will be released in other regions later in the month. A Malaysian release is not yet confirmed for now. The phone is available in four variants with the following prices:
