Nokia's Upcoming Smartphone's Nickname Is Captain America Thanks To Its Camera Bump

Looks familiar, doesn't it?

Nokia is set to attend the MWC 2020 event happening on February 23 2020 in Barcelona, Spain, so there's plenty of expectations of what smartphone is set to be shown during that time. As per always, there were leaks and it looks like Nokia's next smartphone is currently codenamed Captain America due to its very familiar camera bump.

Nokia has always had a tradition to nickname their WIP devices with superhero names. Last year we had Daredevil, so it's good to see this tradition still going strong. The nickname for Captain America for this device is highly due to the round camera bump that looks a lot like Captain America's shield, although you can also say it looks like the Huawei Mate 30 series too.

Leakster Evan Blass was the one who shared this information, and based on rumours it might be the Nokia 5.2. Other than that obvious round camera bump, other things to note from the pictures is that the device has an LED flash surrounded by four cameras inside a circular plate, with the fingerprint reader placed right below.

For the front, it will have a waterdrop notch display together a wide earpiece, which may double up as a loudspeaker. On the side you can see the volume rocker and power button on the right side, with the USB port located at the bottom.

It's expected that the Nokia Captain America will come with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage with a price of around $180, making it a budget smartphone. Lastly, the possible release date will be sometime around March 4.
