When we first saw Nokia’s unique looking phone the 9 PureView, it took some time to get used to its looks. But it seems now the Finnish company has another surprise up its sleeve; a smartphone with 3 cameras arranged in a square and housed in a circular module on the back.
The device does not have an official name yet, but meta info from photos reveal the moniker Nokia Daredevil. It’s also revealed that the main camera module has a 48MP sensor.
The smartphone has a notch on the front screen and seems to be loaded with Android 9 Pie as is the current norm for HMD-made Nokia phones. Thanks to the leakster who posted these shots of the phone on Baidu, we were able to see that the camera’s interface looks the same as all the Nokia smartphones but with an ability to toggle between the wide-angle and regular cameras.
There is a USB-C port at the bottom of the phone, and on the left we can see there is a button that is likely intended for Google Assistant. The fingerprint sensor is positioned on the back of the phone underneath the camera setup, and the “Daredevil” is expected to be an upper-midrange phone is confirmed to run on Snapdragon 660 SoC, has FullHD+ display and a 3500mAh battery.
The leaked info regarding the Nokia “Daredevil” consist of only pictures with no specs provided (aside from the 48 MP main camera), but we hope more information will be made available soon. No official launch date has been announced yet as it seems this phone could be a working prototype.
