New Microsoft Surface Pro makes its official launch in Malaysia

New Surface Pro is a modest upgrade but still a great productivity workhorse

The new Microsoft Surface Pro, which announced pre-orders a month ago, is finally available.

With subtle upgrades such as a new fan-less design (replacing the copper in the machine with graphite to help dissipate heat better) and 50% more battery life than the previous version, the new Microsoft Surface Pro doesn’t disappoint.

The new Surface Pro has a 12.3in PixelSense Display, a choice of Intel Core m3, i5 or i7, up to 512GB SSD, up to 16GB RAM, and either Intel HD Graphics 615, Intel HD Graphics 620 or Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640. Unfortunately, the new Surface Pro hasn’t embraced USB-C or Thunderbolt with just one USB 3.0 port and micro SDXC card reader.
