At last count, we had nearly 10,000 photos on our Camera Roll. And as you can expect, scrolling through all those photos to find the right one not only results in extreme thumb lethargy, but more importantly the very frightening possibility of sending across the wrong photo.
If you’re anything like us, you’ll be glad to know that the upcoming iOS 9 update will bring with it some neat freak tendencies - the ability to further sort your shots.
It’s not exactly new, but it’s certainly welcomed. We’ve seen how iOS 8 automatically consolidates your Panoramas and Bursts in folders. And it looks like Apple is continuing the tidying trend with separate ones for Selfies and Screenshots, as developers have revealed on Twitter with the release of iOS 9 beta 3.
Need to send contextual gossip across to a friend? Hop straight into the Screenshots folder and locate that WhatsApp chat screenshot. Want to update your Facebook profile pic? Find that flattering selfie in your narcisstic new Selfies folder. No one ever needs to suffer the regret of sending across an unintended shot ever again. Thank the heavens.
