A New Monsters Inc. TV Series Is Coming To Disney+

John Goodman and Billy Crystal are returning for Monsters At Work.

Disney is pulling out all the stops when it comes to their own streaming service, Disney+. From The Mandalorian, to the Loki and Scarlet Witch solo series, now Pixar’s Monsters Inc will be joining the fray as an all new animated series.

While Pixar has done an animated series before with the Buzz Lightyear Animated Series way back in 2000, it has not been confirmed whether the series will be in full 3D or in 2D like Buzz Lightyear was. This new series will be called Monsters At Work and will take place 6 months after the original film. Kingdom Hearts 3 players has definitely seen a glimpse of the monster world that has moved to a laugh-based energy source, compared to a scream-based one.

While John Goodman and Billy Crystal will be reprising their roles as Sully and Mike Wazowski respectively, the series will not be entirely focused on them. Instead the series will follow Tylor Tuskman, a monster who dreams to be working on the Laugh Floor with Sully and Mike. This new lead monster will be voiced by Silicon Valley’s Ben Feldman, and will also be joined by other monsters voiced by Kelly Marie Tran of Star Wars fame and The Fonz himself, Henry Winkler.

More info on this new animated will be coming soon as the Disney+ service goes live in the coming months. Hopefully more Pixar properties also get adapted in this manner.
