Judging by the ridiculous response Xiaomi is getting in Malaysia, it seems another China phone maker Meizu thinks it's high time it muscled in. Bringing in its flagship MX4 model, Meizu's going to be selling the phone online for a really attractive price of RM1,099 says the folks over at Lowyat.net.

Cheaper, faster, better

Blue Kor Sdn Bhd is the official distributor for Meizu and has confirmed the MX4 will be sold online on Lazada and gogomobile.com.my.

If you’ve been holding out for the 32GB or 16GB version, tough luck. Only the 16GB version will be available locally and in three colour options namely Grey, White and Gold.

Still, the price is really good for a phone with a Sony 20.7 megapixel camera with built-in night time stabilisation. You get a nice 5.36-inch screen with Gorilla Glass, an eight-core MediaTek 6595 CPU, a PowerVR G6200 GPU and 2GB of memory as well as LTE

The first batch is coming on Nov 28 so get your credit cards ready if you fancy owning an MX4. Can't wait? The phone is also available for preorder on ipmart.com, but you'll have to pony up RM300-RM400 more.

Somewhere Samsung is weeping as less people are willing to spend premium for better specs, thanks to the likes of Xiaomi and Meizu.
