Maxis sold out of iPhone 6s Plus 128GB, but stocks might arrive by 16 October

The economy isn't deterring iPhone fans from buying Apple's most expensive model

Looks like iPhone demand this year could very well exceed last year's. Quite a few Maxis customers were disappointed when preorders opened, and the telco ran out of the most expensive model: the iPhone 6s Plus 128GB.

Maxis did confirm on its Facebook page that new stocks will be in by 16 October, the official launch date. So customers have a chance at procuring the model on launch date itself.

One point to note is that the iPhone 6s Plus 128GB retails for RM4699, which would get you a very decently-specced laptop. Due to the expensive RRP, it's likely that more customers who want an iPhone will turn to telcos instead of buying outright from online stores.

Customers can check real-time stocks for Maxis phones on the site, though the new iPhones have yet to be updated on the system.
