Malaysians can now order the new iPad Pro online

If you've been waiting for the new i-Devices, looks like they're coming soon

Apple's latest iPads as well as what looks like their related electronic accessories have just passed Sirim certification.

UPDATE 26/06/2017: The new iPad Pro tablets are now officially on sale on the Malaysian online Apple Store. However, shipping will take 1-2 weeks. No promotions or announcements have been made by local Apple distributors as yet. Expect however for the new units to start popping up in stores soon, likely after the festive holidays are over.

A matter of time

As electronics have to go through Sirim certification first before being sold officially in the country, them popping up on the Sirim database is always a sign of impending availability.

While Apple's new iMac desktops are already available online, the new iPad Pro tablets have not been purchaseable from the website. As of press time, the 9.7in version seems to have disappeared from the store, likely in anticipation of the new models.

The Smart Keyboard for the 10.5in version is already on sale for RM699 with the larger keyboard for the 12.9in version selling for RM749.

As for the iPad Pro pricing, the 10.5in model costs RM2999, RM3449 and RM4349 for the 64GB, 256GB and 512GB versions respectively while the 12.9in costs RM3499, RM3949 and RM4849 for its equivalent variants.
