Malaysia's Supposed Flying Car Prototype Seen At LIMA 2019

Well... a model of it actually, and the misconception didn't end there

Originally assumed as Malaysia's very own flying car, the Vector is actually a drone concept vehicle designed to carry passengers or cargo, and for the use of surveillance purposes.

The vehicle was designed by Aerodyne Group, an Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) solution provider that specialises in drone technology and services.

Aerodyne Group's business development and consulting senior director, Imtyaz Mohd Azzat, dismissed the assumption that they were manufacturing a flying car, and stated that the Vector was designed to be a point-to-point air transportation system.

A model of the Vector's prototype was on display during the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace 2019 (LIMA 19) exhibition on 27 March 2019, and has caught the attention of both event patrons and Malaysian netizens in social media.
