There's no denying Microsoft's Lumia 950 and 950 XL have some seriously sweet specs. Still, Windows Phone is still lagging behind in sales and developer attention so the Lazada-leaked prices of the new phones won't exactly help the Windows Phone cause.
Lazada has put up preorder pages for the phones, with the Lumia 950 costing RM2,700 and the XL version, RM3,000. The 950 is running a hexacore Snapdragon 808 with 3GB of RAM and a 5.2-inch display, while the XL has an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM and a 5.7-inch display. Both come with 20MP back cameras with OIS and triple-LED flash.
Still, a good camera isn't enough to sell the phones and with Microsoft divesting itself of the phone division, could these be the last, great Windows Phones? We can only hope Android versions of the devices come sometime in the future.
