The rumours are in: LG's upcoming flagship G4 phone could have a curved design, but it will be more like the LG G Flex 2 rather than a Samsung Galaxy S6 with its curve along the y-axis. The curve angle is so slight that nobody has managed to detect it from all the pictures and renders out there.
LG's new UX looks shiny
The rest of the phone’s specs highlights include a 5.5” True HD IPS display QHD resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and a Snapdragon 808 chipset with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage. LG also recently announced that it will offer free screen replacements and a 64GB microSD card, but only for those who preorder in Korea.
On a side note, LG let us have a peek at its optimised UI with a new LG UX 4.0 video. In it you can see previews of LG's Ringtone ID and Quick Memo+, along with camera features like Quick Shot and the clumsily-worded Gesture Interval Shot. Looks like there's a lot more to look forward to when the G4 comes around and it would definitely be a boost for the phone to have the UX 4.0 already running on the G4. We'll take the UX version number as a really strong hint.
