Statistics for Windows Phone were shared by an advertising network last December. And then up popped what what was rumoured to be an LG VW820 phone and the first thing that came up to our minds was that LG is planning to switch to Windows OS after a long exclusive relationship with Google’s Android.
So here is what we know so far, that the model has been certified by Bluetooth SIG as a “mobile phone” and that the LG documents are calling it a Windows “Phone”, hence indicates that the phone will not be running on Windows 10 OS but rather on Windows 8.1 OS.
But heck, we may be wrong as the “Windows Phone” categorising may not have anything to do with its OS at all. One thing we do know is that the phone will be fitted with a 4.7 inch 480x854 touchscreen, which means the phone is not a flagship phone but a low end handset.
Additionally, there were talks in the past stating that Verizon will offer a new LG-made Windows phone to consumers in the market, so we think this must be it.
