Apple has quietly released the pricing for the iPhone X in Malaysia via its online store.
UPDATE 7/11/2017: Apple has announced the availability of the iPhone X in more countries, with Malaysia getting the latest iPhone 24 November. Besides Malaysia, the other countries getting it on that date are Albania, Bosnia, Cambodia, Kosovo, Macau, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand and Turkey.
Israel will get it a day earlier on 23 November. iPhone cases and new lightning docks will also be available with pricing starting from RM189.

On the store, it's stated the iPhone X 64GB will be RM5149 and the iPhone X 256GB RM5899. That's quite a bit more expensive than the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus models so it might not actually hurt preorders or sales for those phones.
There's no release date either for the phone but since preorders for this model begin at the end of the month for Singapore, Malaysia's will likely only follow a month later.
Apparently quite a few iPhone fans have been waiting for this model instead of getting the iPhone 8. Will the pricing lessen the appetite for the model, the most expensive upcoming smartphone in Malaysia at the moment? We'll only know once official orders begin for the model.
