Huawei is ready to launch their all-new Mate 20 X Pro 5G to the general public, specifically in China, Italy, and even the United Arab Emirates. This is the company's first 5G offering and one of the first 5G smartphones to be available to consumers.
Externally, the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G is similar to the already available Mate 20 X, with the same 7.2-inch screen, as well as the rear camera setup. The biggest upgrade comes with the new 5G Balong 5000 modem to support the new 5G feature. The battery has also been increased from 4,200mAh to 5,000mAh, as well as its RAM being increased from 6GB to 8GB, and its storage space increased from 128GB to 256GB.
Though one thing that isn't too clear is the operating system that this new Huawei Mate 20 X 5G will be using, since Android support for Huawei is now non-existent. Presumably Huawei's own Hong Meng OS could be making its grand debut here, or it might just stick to what the original Huawei Mate 20 has been using.
The Huawei Mate 20 X 5G will be released in China this month on July 26th, and will be out in Italy on July 22nd. The phone was already released in the UAE on July 12th. Hopefully we'll see this phone soon as 5G becomes available in Malaysia.
