Honor 9X To Launch In Malaysia On November 21; Confirmed To Have Google Apps

X-tra, x-tra, read all about it!

After much speculation, the official launch date for the Honor 9X is finally here. We've received an invitation for the launch confirming this, and it looks like we can expect a range of wearables by Honor to be announced as well.

There had been speculations that the Honor 9X will not have Google apps as Honor is under Huawei, but Honor has confirmed that the devices coming to Malaysia will have Google apps. It's been reported that the European version of the Honor 9X also had Google apps, and it's likely the reason why they have it is the same as ours.

The Honor 9X specs in Malaysia sees a 6.59″ Full HD+ display with no notches or punch-holes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage, which is expandable via a microSD card. In terms of camera, it comes with a 16MP pop-up selfie camera and a 48MP main camer, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 2MP depth camera on the rear. In terms of battery, it comes with a large 4,000mAh battery that charges via USB-C. No word on the expected price yet.

In the meantime, not a lot has been revealed on what the wearables Honor intends to launch next week will be. It would be interesting if it was a device containing the HarmonyOS, as that would be the first. We will definitely report on it if this is so.
