Here's A List Of Smartphones That Can Run Google Stadia From February 20

Other than Google Pixel of course

Google Stadia was launched November last year, being available on PC/browser, as well as on Google Pixel smartphones. Based on a recent announcement, the list of smartphones that can use Goolge Stadia is about to expand from February 20 onwards.

For those unaware, Google Stadia is a cloud gaming service that is capable of streaming video games up to 4K resolution at 60fps and you will have to subscribe to access said games. You will even need a Stadia controller to play some games as well.

Here is the full list of smartphones that will be able to use Google Stadia from February 20 onwards:

  • Samsung Galaxy S8
  • Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus
  • Samsung Galaxy S8 Active
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 8
  • Samsung Galaxy S9
  • Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 9
  • Samsung Galaxy S10e
  • Samsung Galaxy S10
  • Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus
  • Samsung Galaxy S10 5G
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 10
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G
  • Samsung Galaxy S20
  • Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus
  • Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra
  • Razer Phone
  • Razer Phone 2
  • ASUS ROG Phone
  • ASUS ROG Phone 2

It's unclear for now whether smartphones running on older Android systems will work as smoothly, like the Galaxy S8 which uses Android 7.0 Nougat and is unable to get Android 10. But if Google announced this, it means it should work regardless.

While Google Stadia remains unavailable for us in Malaysia, users of smartphones listed can at least look forward to trying out the moment it does hit our corner of the world. The question remains at when though.
