Unless you've been hiding under a rock all these years, you should know that Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire (ORAS) just got a global launch.
To coincide with the worldwide launch, fans got to take part in a launch party organised by local online game retailer Kyo’s Game Mart in Berjaya Times Square.
Kyo’s Game Mart owner Azlil Shah, or Kyo as he prefers to be called, has organised similar launch parties in the past for fans. The ORAS launch was the largest so far, to great success due to the immense turnout of fans.
Pokemon trainers got to get their fill of official as well as fan Pokemon merchandise as well as collect Street Passes while they waited in line for their own copies of the game.
And even if you didn't own the game or a 3DS, you could still pick your favourite Pokemon to go home with. Albeit a little smaller and cuter of course.
For those who didn’t, they challenged opponents during the Pokemon X and Y and Smash Bros picking up prizes along the way. Cosplayers, some depicting Pokemon trainers and gijinka (humanised representation) of Pokemon also came to join the fun.
