The Google Stadia shocked everyone with its reveal this year, as the world’s biggest tech company makes their big move into gaming by introducing a whole new way to stream triple-A games right to your tablet, phones, or any other device with Internet capabilities. Now, we finally know the list of games coming to the Stadia at launch.
Thanks to a recent Google Stadia session at Gamescom, a number of new games have been announced for the platform. The biggest being CD Projekt Red’s highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to the platform sometime in 2020, which should coincide with the release of the game on other major platforms as well. The upcoming Borderlands 3 will also be available on Stadia, as well as a new exclusive game for the platform, Orcs Must Die 3.
As for launch titles; most of them will be games that have already been out for consoles and PC, including games like Destiny 2, Mortal Kombat 11, and Metro Exodus. Square Enix is porting Final Fantasy XV and the last 3 Tomb Raider games to the Stadia, and while Ubisoft is bringing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Just Dance, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, Trials Rising, and The Crew 2.
Interested parties wouldn’t need to wait too long to play games on the Google Stadia, as the platform is set to launch in November, with a subscription to the service coming in at around MYR 30 a month. While some games will be made free to play with the subscription, similar to the Xbox Game Pass, most of the triple-A titles need to be bought at full-price.
