Google Drive now syncs with Microsoft Office

The power of Microsoft Office and the cloud-friendliness of Google means you've got no excuse to slack off

Now you can easily open Microsoft Office, Word and Excel files in your Google Drive with a new plug-in. The plug-in allows you to open your documents, edit and save them back to your Google Drive with ease.

You can also edit your local files and then store them on to your Drive with this plug-in. Basically, this plug-in makes it simpler for you to use apps that you are already comfortable with to create and edit documents while still utilising the security and convenience of Google Drive.

This is a great workaround for those who like Google Drive's convenience but miss the features that Microsoft Office provides. Not to mention OneDrive (no matter what Microsoft says) is just not as user-friendly.
