Google on Android updates now adds third-party voice controls, wait time graph

Sorry, the features are currently Android only

Thanks to an update, Google on Android now lets you use voice controls to send messages (in English) through third-party services. Supported right now are WhatsApp, Viber, NextPlus, Telegram and WeChat.

Just say for instance “send a WhatsApp message to Mom” and you’re all sorted. Other apps and languages are currently in the works.

Another handy feature in the new tweak is a wait time graph for when you’re visiting places that are usually crowded. It will handily suggest when is a better time for you to visit your favourite coffee joint or, if you insist anyway, how long you’ll likely be in queue.
