French designer creates classy gadgets for the ladies

Nothing girly, everything chic

Mention gadgets for women and you'll imagine tacky, pink and too much glitter. French design Pauline Deltour is having none of that.

Deltour has  designed a range of gadgets called Fine for Lexon, which focuses on soft colours, contours and curves. None of the garish, shiny nonsense marketed at women. Everything is made from anodized aluminum, and comes in a range of muted colors, like bronze, gray-blue, and dark mauve. There's a Fine mobile phone charger, a key ring with attached USB drive, a Bluetooth speaker, and a cardholder with a pop-up double-sided mirror.

The French calls lovely and yet functional items like these minaudières”. Cleef & Arpel sold the first minaudière, an ornamental case French women could use to replace a purse. Lipstick, money, cigarettes, in a portable yet elegant case.

Women or admirers of women with fine taste can purchase some Fine items here.
