Fitbit has since become the name brand for smart fitness watches, becoming the number one choice for recreational sports fans, avid marathoners, and professional athletes. Recently, their Versa line of smartwatches have been making the rounds and has become their best smartwatch yet. Now, the next iteration of the Versa seems to be coming to us soon.
Thanks to a tweet by noted leaker Evan Blass on Twitter, a new Fitbit Versa is making its way to consumers. The biggest change comes in the upgrade of the Versa’s screen, going from an LCD screen to an AMOLED display. This gives the new Fitbit Versa a sleek, bezel-less, and curved design, which really makes it look a lot like an Apple Watch.
Another new feature is the addition of Amazon’s Alexa as an AI assistant to the Versa, which makes it inline with Apple Watch’s Siri and the Samsung Galaxy Watch’s Bixby. Besides that, it seems that staple features like the PurePulse heart rate sensor, proprietary charging cable, and 50 meters of water resistance, are here to stay as well.
No official word on this new Fitbit Versa just yet, though do expect some time before the year ends for the release date and prices.
