See a bunch of typos after posting something? You can now easily fix it
Finally! You get to edit your posts on Instagram after they go live

Instagram might be one of the most popular apps on the face of this earth, but there’s been one vital feature flaw that’s always annoyed us – you couldn’t make any tweaks to your fouled posts once you hit “share”.

So there goes live your update, with all those typos on the captions and all, making you seem like someone that might have totally ruined your chances at ever making it into a spelling bee competition.

But Instagram’s heard your qualms. It’s updated its app to let you change history and fix all these blunders you’ve made on your Instagram captions. Yes, that means no more having to frustratingly correct your mistakes in a comment or deleting the entire post and creating it from scratch, again.

The update, which got rolled out yesterday, enables photo captions to be changed after they’re posted, in addition to adding new recommendations to its Explore bar. How do you make these changes you ask? Simple.

Hit the menu button […] at the bottom of a post and tap on edit. Once you’ve made the change, there will be a note on the edit indicating that alterations were made on the post, which will also be visible to any viewer of the comments.

“This has been one of the top requests that we’ve heard from the community, and we’re excited to finally bring it to you today,” the online and mobile photo sharing service announced through a recent blog post.

We’re guessing many Instagram users are a lot more happier now.
