Doogee looks like it's bringing in another phablet for the masses and it's calling it the Doogee X5 Max. Not to be confused with the various 'max' models already out there, this one has a massive 4000mAh battery which will come in handy considering it has a 5in IPS HD screen.
The phone has an MTK6580 quad-core processor but will only have 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. As for the camera, it's 8MP in the back and 2MP in front but at least it will be running Marshmallow.
Doogee says the phone will be coming in pretty soon, as next month apparently. It comes with native OTG, OTA and Bluetooth 4.0 support as well as a fingerprint scanner. Pricing has yet to be revealed but if it follows the trend of other Doogee devices, it will probably cost much less than RM1000.
While the specs on Doogee's website mentions WiFi,3G and GPS, there's no mention of LTE so if you're looking for an LTE-capable model, this might not be it. File this under phones to consider as a backup, cheap phone.
