If you'd been considering getting a Digi Broadband account, now might be a good time.
The telco just announced its latest update to its its broadband plans today, offering attractive plans priced competitively when compared to other mobile broadband solutions.
Three new options
Touting its new plans as catering to the "new digital lifestyle", they come with 19 free streaming channels including Dailymotion and everyone's mainstay, YouTube as well as Astro and Media Prima radio stations, with free streaming that will not take up broadband quotas.
There will be a free 30-day access pass to 11 premium Astron on the Go channels and 2 months free subscription to iflix, with plans priced at RM30, RM60 and RM100 for 6GB, 20GB and 50GB respectively. This is a big step up over its previous plans that started at RM25 for 1GB monthly previously.
It's a pretty interesting move for Digi as it seems that streaming is now becoming pretty popular with Malaysians and the all-you-can-eat streaming for selected channels might appeal to TV and music junkies.
Head on over to the Digi Broadband page for more info, though it has yet to be refreshed at press time. Expect it to be updated soon however, now that the announcement's been made.
