The tinier follow up to the current PadFone Infinity, the PadFone Mini sees, the smartphone part of it shrunk down to a 4.3-inch screen from a 5-incher and the tablet dock shrunk to a good 7-inches from a 10-inch.

Getting shot by the shrinking ray isn’t the only thing the PadFone Mini offers.  It’s kitted out with some pretty decent specs as well. includin a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon MSM8226 processor with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The smartphone's screen has a 960 x 540 resolution while the tablet has a 1,280 x 800 resolution. It’ll also be running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. As for battery capacity, the phone itself comes with a 1500mAH battery while the tablet has a 2200mAH battery.

The price for the PadFone Mini is NT$11,990 (RM1294) and our neighbours in Singapore will be one of the countries that'll it'll be launched at. No news if it'll be headed our way here in Malaysia but stay tuned for news of the local launch and we'll update this space as soon as it happens.
