So, it's a blinged-out gaming laptop. It's exciting why?
Look closer: the Acer Predator 21 X is a curved gaming laptop. Curved monitors and TVs are becoming more mainstream so it was only a matter of time that those curves came to laptop displays.
Right. Why does that make it special, pray tell?
Curved displays, manufacturers say, offer a more immersive experience and this one is a 21in IPS display with 2560 x 1080 resolution and a super-fast 120Hz refresh rate. Your games are going to look good, no question.

Isn't that what gaming monitors are for? What else is there?
There's Tobii eye-tracking for one. Acer promises that this new feature will let you use your eyes to game as well - just gazing at objects on your screen will help you aim, take cover and identify gaming enemies on-screen. It's not supported on all games, but it does work on over 45 titles including Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Elite Dangerous.
Mildly intriguing. Tell me about the specs
It's got dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphic cards and an i7-7820HK processor, with 64GB DDR4-2400 memory. There's room for a 1TB 7200 RPM HDD and up to four 512GB SSD drives.
