The Apple Watch Series 4 is undoubtedly one of the best smartwatches out there, with the ability to save lives by knowing when the user has fallen, or even take note of irregular heartbeats. So how can Apple beat that? Well, the Series 5 is definitely impressive with an always-on display that makes it easy to glance over the time without needing to raise your wrist. Battery life is definitely questionable, but overall Apple promises it will last all day. The Series 5 also comes with a built-in compass, as well as the ability to make emergency international calls. It runs on watchOS 6, which brings new watch faces and improved activity tracking among other new features, which is why the Apple Watch Series is a clear contender in the smartwatch category.
The Apple Watch Series 5 is capable of making calls, sending text, stream music and even make emergency calls without the need of your iPhone, but it will need a proper mobile plan. Apple Malaysia has pointed out that Digi currently has the service plan required, though there's no update on the official Apple website on this issue yet.
The Apple Watch Series 5 is available in the traditional aluminum and stainless steel variants, with ceramic and titanium cases with prices from MYR1749. For a more affordable option, Apple Malaysia is also offering the Apple Watch Series 3 from MYR849.
