The DJI Mavic Mini has arrived in Malaysia to prove to you that good things can come in small packaged. Weighing in at just 249 grams, the Mavic Mini is the lightest and smallest drone DJI has ever made and has finally made its way to the Malaysian market with a starting price of MYR1599.
The DJI Mavic Mini offers 30 minutes of flight time on a charge, a suite of different modes, and the ability to shoot stabilised 2.7K video at 30fps, 1080p at 60fps, plus 12MP stills. It has built-in altitude limits and automatic return if you lose it or it detects its battery is about to go kaput. The only downside, perhaps, is the lack of obstacle detection, so if you’re not much of a pilot, you’re going to be grateful for the 360 degree propeller guard.
For the Malaysian market, you have two purchase options; the standard package includes the Mavic Mini, remote controller, one battery, extra propellors and all necessary tools and cables for MYR1599. The second option is the Mavic Mini Fly More Combo which comes with with all the components from the standard package but with a 360 degree Propellor Cage, Two-Way charging Hub, two additional batteries, three sets of extra propellors and a carrying case; all for MYR1999.
The products are now available for pre-order at VSTEC's resellers and DJI authorised retailers across Malaysia. The Mavic Mini will be shipped to customers in Malaysia from mid-November 2019. You can find out more about the Mavic Mini on their official website.
