MacBook Air 2020 Comes With More Speed And Storage As Well As An Improved Keyboard; Priced From RM4399

Plenty to love for fans

Along with the announcement of the iPad 2020, there's also the MacBook Air 2020 and there's definitely plenty to love if you're fan. As you’d expect, the world’s most popular Mac has been given a sizeable spec bump, with the 2020 model delivering up to two times faster CPU performance and up to 80% faster graphics courtesy of Intel's Iris Plus graphics.

The base model costs RM4399 comes with 256GB of storage, which is double that of its predecessor and is definitely impressive. An update on the Mac Mini, also sees double the storage capacity on the standard configuration at 256GB!

But perhaps the most impressive isn't what's on the inside, but out as Apple has abandoned its divisive butterfly keyboard and replaced it with the MacBook Pro 16’s Magic Keyboard, which uses a scissor-switch mechanism.

As Apple is all about your security you're also getting the T2 Security Chip, Apple’s own custom-designed second-generation silicon, that ensures built-in security and privace that even protects Touch ID information. Additionally, there's the three-mic array for more clear voice capture for FaceTime® calls with friends and family, support for up to a 6K external display, and even advanced stereo speakers for immersive, wide stereo sound for activities like watching Apple TV+℠ content or playing games in Apple Arcade℠.

This is Apple's best MacBook Air, as they claim, and will be available on the local Apple Store soon at the price of RM4399, and RM3959 for education. For the Mac Mini, it will be at RM3,449 cfor the standard 256GB, while the RM4,649 configuration features 512GB.
