The Honor 9X has officially launched in Malaysia and yes, it has Google Apps. The reason for this is mentioned in one of our earlier articles but basically what we have here is a slight downgrade from the version launched in China; particularly the processor where the one in Malaysia comes with a 12nm Kirin 710F Chipset while the one in China is a 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 810. Is that bad? Well, not unless you would rather have a powerful phone rather than a phone with Google Apps.

Overall, you're still getting some great features for the Honor 9X; a 6.59" FullView Display, a 48MP Triple Camera with AIS Super Night Mode and a 120 degrees Super Wide Angle, a powerful pop-up 16MP selfie camera that can take quite a beating (I've witnessed this), and a 4000 mAh battery with a USB Type-C connector. And the storage? Well, you can get 128GB expanded up to 640GB and with a 512GB microSD card, the Honor 9X storage can even rival a laptop.

All this for the amazing price of RM999 to boot, with two colours to choose from; Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue. Pre-orders for the Honor 9X will begin tomorrow on 22 November and the device will officially go on sale online on 28 November. If you pre-order, you can choose two gifts; a free Honor Band 5 Sport with a gift box, or add on RM0.99 for the Honor Sport Pro Headphones. You can pre-order on Hihonor or on Lazada.
