The LG PuriCare line had launched in Malaysia a few months back, and now we have a new device to look forward to; a portable LG PuriCare Mini. According to LG, this is the world's first filter-type portable air purifier and is designed for those on-the-move who need the air to remain clean wherever they go.
The device comes with LG’s 4-Step Air Filtration System, LG PuriCare Mini can detect and remove 99 percent particulates as small as 0.3 micrometers. This is possible by the PM1.0 Sensor that quickly and accurately detects the quality of the air before the Dual Inverter Motor forcibly draws in the air at 5,000rpm and then the Total Allergen Removal filter removes particulates in the air and finally the powerful Twin Tornado Dual Fan disperses the clean air far and wide. According to LG, the PuriCare is so efficient it can clean 50 percent of the air inside a car in just 10 minutes, which is a claim to fame these days apparently.
The device is cordless has a similar size and weight as a 500ml bottle of water, and can function for 8 hours at low speed or 2 hours at the highest setting on battery power alone. It also claims to be really quiet, at only 30dB in low setting, which makes it perfect if you want to use the air purifier for your sleeping infants and children, or need a quiet space.
According to a press release by LG-One Malaysia, the LG PuriCare Mini is expected to launch by the end of the year in Asia.
